In addition, the delegation met our students there who were first certified by the experimental class of international courses. Their good performance during the study in Britain were widely recognized and appreciated by the University of Leeds. Established for hundreds of years ago, the University of Leeds is one of the best universities in Britain. It has an international reputation for its food science. In Worms University of Applied Sciences, the course of future cooperation was discussed by two sides, and a further cooperation was raised in computer specialty based on what already existed. The delegation showed great interest in the specialty of Chinese Language in this university, and came up with the intention which was later agreed on students exchange as well as on providing opportunities for their students to learn Chinese language. The Worms University of Applied Sciences is one of the famous public higher professional colleges in Germany. It possesses a higher level of international education and less than 20 percent of its students are in international exchange. Moreover, Edinburgh Napier University, one of the UK’s leading universities, signed a cooperation memorandum with our delegation. The delegation had a talk with Vice president Alistair Sambell and some leaders and reached a preliminary agreement on cooperative education on some specialties, such as machinery, electric and materials. In Cranfield University, the delegation got a warm reception from executive vice president Sir John O’Reilly and held a profound discussion on issues such as the co-laboratory construction. Besides, our delegation paid a visit to their laboratories and watched some demonstration of advanced equipment. Cranfield University is the only research university which merely launches courses for postgraduates. And it has strong scientific and technological innovation capacity in virtue of its multi-disciplinary integration. On this visit, Jiangsu University deepened its connections to sister-schools as well as boosted the cooperative education project. Moreover, it branched out its international cooperation and communication.
