Researcher Shen Bo from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Visits Our School

Presently, at the invitation of Jiangsu Univercity’s Strategic Research Centre for Energy Development and Environmental Protection, researcher Shen Bo from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory made an academic lecture for both our teachers and students titled “American Ways to Increase Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy” in No. 3 lecture hall of Science Museum.
This report was held by Deputy Director Professor Mei of Energy Centre. More than 50 teachers and students from different schools, such as school of science, school of management and school of finance and economics, attended the report. As the lead researcher in Chinese Energy Group in American national laboratory, Shen Boexplained how to save energy and resources in US federal and local government as well as in enterprises and families from four perspectives of the comparison of US and Chinese energy, US architecture on energy strategy, US organizations for energy and resources, US present working on energy and low-carbon efforts.
Researcher Shen brought us the latest information. With many citations and instances, his report was brief and easy to understand which played an active role in the promotion of international academic interactions for our energy centre and in broadening teachers’ and students’ academic views.
