On October 23, IUCAE held the 2021 Annual Conference. 21 member universities from China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, Henan University of Science and Technology, Jiangsu University, University of Warwick, Leeds University, Ogarev Mordovia State University, Loughborough University and so on attended the annual meeting.

President Prof. Kong Liuan, Henan University of Science and Technology and President Prof. Yan Xiaohong, Jiangsu University were present to witness the brand-new development of IUCAE. The conference was chaired by Prof. Pan Jianfeng, Director of the JSU’s International Office.

As the Chair University of IUCAE, President Yan Xiaohong, Jiangsu University, made the 2021 IUCAE work report based on IUCAE’s contributions to scientific and technological cooperation, joint talents cultivation, global health, etc.

Associate Professor Jin Yucheng, Executive Director, Faculty of agricultural equipment, Jiangsu University, released the R&D projects on intelligent agricultural equipment. This project aims at making breakthroughs in bottlenecks technologies by shortening the development cycle and improving the quality of research outputs.

IUCAE members discussed cooperation on the establishment of publication, textbook, online courses, multilateral research centers or innovation consortia, etc. Going forward, ICUAE, as a multilateral platform model, aspires to optimize academic cooperation in agricultural engineering by pooling wisdom and ingenuity of all members.
