On June 26, Shanghai Ranking’s Academic Ranking of World Universities released its “ranking of the world’s top soft science disciplines in 2019”. Our university has a total of 14 disciplines on the list, and the ranking of many disciplines has significantly improved. Our comprehensive ranking ranked 47^th among universities in the Mainland China, which had advanced by 2 places compared to that last year. In the World, Food Science & Engineering and Chemical Engineering raised to the Top 75 in the world. Metallurgical Engineering and Energy Science & Engineering also entered the Top 150, Biological Engineering entered the Top 200. Mechanical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Environment Science & Engineering, Chemistry, Instrumental Science and nanoscience and technology entered the Top 300 in the world.
