On the morning of March 26, an international seminar about pump technology was held at the 3rd Lecture Hall of Conference Center in Jiangsu University. Present at the seminar were Dr. Henrik Ørskov Pedersen, CTO of Grundfos Group, the biggest manufacturer in the world, Dr. Christian Brix Jacobsen, director of Fluid Structure Department of Grundfos R & D Center and part-time professor of Jiangsu University, Professor Peer Hull Kristensen and Dr. Maja Lotz from Copenhagen Business School, and Jiansgu University teachers and students majored in fluid machinery.

Research professor Yuan Shouqi, Jiangsu University president and academic leader of the discipline Liquid Machinery, had a meeting with the visitors , and discussed with the visitors cooperation in students training and project development. Jiangsu University boasts China’s National Research Center for Pumps and Pumping System Engineering, and Grundfos is the biggest pump manufacturer in the world. The parties both expressed the hope to further their international cooperation and promote the development of pump industry.
