Chairman Prof. Yuan Shouqi Led the Delegation to Visit Egypt and Turkey

From 25th June to 2nd July, Prof. Yuan Shouqi, Chair of University Committee of Jiangsu University led a delegation to visit Egypt and Turkey.

 

During the visit to the University of Tanta, Egypt, Prof. Magdi Saba, President of UT firmly agreed with China's Belt and Road Initiative and also believed that China will lead the world in the future. They must collaborate closely with China. Accompanied by Vice-President Prof. Mostafa Elsheekh, the delegation visited the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Agricultural College. Prof. Yuan Shouqi also introduced JSU and its related policies for doctoral degree and post-doctoral programs.



During the visit to University of Kafrah Sheikh in Egypt (Ranked No. 1 in Egypt), accompanied by Prof. Maged El-Kemary, President of University of Kafrah Sheikh, the delegation visited the teaching and experimental equipment of the Nano Science and Technology Center, the Fisheries College, the Medical College, and the Affiliated Hospital. Prof. El-Kemary believes that it is necessary to cooperate with Chinese universities in depth.



In Nevsehir University, Turkey, Prof. Yuan Shouqi and Prof. Fatma Karipcin Vice President of Nevsehir University, introduced conditions, disciplines (professional) advantages and characteristics to each other, respectively and reached relevant agreements. Nevsehir University accepted 10 undergraduates from JSU (5 students for electrical engineering and the other 5 in environmental science and engineering) to exchange and study at the school with free tuition and accommodation fees. JSU will also provide opportunity for young teachers from Nevsehir University to study doctoral degree and postdoctoral research.


Prof. Yuan Shouqi signed a MOU with President Saba of Tanta University, President Kemary of Kavra Sheikh University and President Bagli of Nevsehir University respectively.
